Al Horford health status update: Horford had surgery today, officially out for rest of season

Atlanta Hawks forward/center Al Horford had surgery today to repair a complete tear of his right pectoral muscle. The surgery was performed at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta by Dr. Xavier Duralde and accompanied by Hawks Team Physician Dr. Michael Bernot from the Peachtree Orthopaedic Clinic. Horford will now undergo a period of rest, treatment and rehabilitation.
